Smoking or using snus is not allowed in the sauna facility.

Alcohol is prohibited in the drop-in sauna. For private events in the private sauna, carton wine and beer cans are allowed, but no glass bottles. We encourage moderation; sauna use and bathing are at your own risk

Intoxicated individuals will be removed.

You need to bring a towel to sit on, as well as a towel for swimming and showering.

It is allowed to throw fresh water from the tap or shower onto the sauna stove. Use the bucket/spoon provided in the sauna. Be careful as hot steam will be produced.

  1. Please take a shower with soap and water before entering the sauna, and rinse thoroughly for good hygiene.
  2. Sit on the towel when using the sauna to maintain cleanliness and comfort.
  3. Only fresh water should be used on the sauna stoves.
  4. To maintain a relaxing and health-promoting atmosphere, we do not allow the use of intoxicants or the consumption of food in the sauna.
  5. Be considerate and respectful towards other guests, and respect their privacy.
  6. Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult for their safety.
  7. We ask that you tidy up and wipe down the locker room before leaving the sauna, so that it remains clean and inviting for the next guest.
  8. For safety reasons, swimming alone is not allowed. Please always have a companion who can stay on the dock while you swim.
  9. Only guests with a booked time have access to the sauna. Please do not allow uninvited guests to enter, as both the guest and the uninvited guest risk permanent exclusion.
  10. Use of the sauna and swimming is at your own risk. If you feel uncomfortable, dizzy, or drowsy, we recommend that you leave the sauna immediately.
  11. Please be aware that the floor may be slippery. Move carefully to avoid any accidents.
  12. Harstad Sea Sauna reserves the right to check guests to ensure that all terms and sauna rules are followed.
